CONFEDERATIONS CUP : TAKE ONE

This Saturday June 15 was the start of the Confederations Cup 2013 in Brazil in the middle of strong protests and strict security around the venues where the Cup takes place.
The opening of the Cup was marked at the beginning by boos to Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff and FIFA President Joseph ‘Sepp’ Blatter.

Brazil and Japan were the teams that faced each other, with a score of 3-0 in favour of the Brazilians, with goals from Neymar Jr., Paulinho and Jo.
La verde amarella was superior in all aspects to the team selected by Japan with more ball possession, more shots to goal, and more speed in how they played their football. Japan’s defence could do nothing to contain the power of the Brazilian strikers.
